MCS is a full service studio handling Exotics, North American and International small and big game. Birds, Waterfowl, Fresh and Saltwater Fish, Reptiles, Replicas and Reproductions. Rugmaking, mount cleaning and restorations are handled as well. Our studio offers freeze-dry services for small game species and turkey head preservation. Mounts larger than squirrels are conventional tanned and mounted. With the exception of our larger shoulder, rugs, pelts and life-size mounts. All other tanning is done on the premise. Please check our information page for our terms and conditions and field care guide.

We take pride in marking and tagging each specimen and it’s components to guard against any possible mix-up. Each cape has a rivet style tag with your name and I.D number in indelible ink. This tag remains on the cape until the mounting process is complete. Each set of horns or antlers are lightly engraved in an inconspicuous rear spot with your initials and I.D. number along  with a temporary removable tag for identification.  Your permit is attached to the back of each mount. Commercially tanned pelts and hides have unique punch marking identification.

I enjoy hunting and fishing with family and friends. We appreciate the outdoors and the pleasant memories we have preserved in our personal mounts. Your trophies are given the same exact care we demand of our own. As a measurer for several associations, I have had the opportunity to view and score hundreds of mounts. Regardless of their trophy potential, some are always very good, attractive mounts. The type of mount anyone would be proud to hang in their home. Others, shall we say epitomizes the old quote “Ugly is forever” Trophies for the most part are a constant reminder of a special time in your life. Please choose your taxidermist carefully.
